Very slow performance after Miui 11 update on Redmi 5 Plus

My phone updated to Miui 11 during the early morning. The first problem I noticed is it went down a 4% battery without being used (I woke up at 4am when the update got downloaded and applied, being the phone at 87%, then I woke up again being it at 83% and after 15 minutes of YouTube use it went down right to 72%).

Throughout the day I saw the animations were extremely slow and the fingerprint unlock worked very bad (instead of sudden show the app or the menu, it went through a black screen and then the app or menu).

And at last, if I hide notifications content on the lockscreen, it shows me I have 3 new WhatsApp messages, when I actually get 1 or 2.

Any solution for it? It is supposed to be an stable version so...

I have clean-installed the latest stable MIUI 11 on my Redmi 5 Plus, everything is all right with performance: no lags, freezes, bugs, crashes etc. It's definitely the best ROM I've ever had on thia phone. Try to reset the phone (or format data).
