Wallpaper carousel favorites - V10.2.3.OCHCNFK

hi guys,
do any of you have Wallpaper carousel favorites working correctly? I'm able to use carousel and set my wallpaper but marking a wallpaper as favorite doesn't save it. I think it's a permission issue but I granted storage access to everything I could find related to carousel.
Can anyone confirm that this is working?
