Weekly Updates

Good evening, I'm new to xiaomi.eu and I did not understand how to update it. I installed on my redmi 5 plus the 8.4.4 weekly last week and now I saw the 8.4.12 release but I did not understand if you have to update via ota or otherwise. Do I have to simply flash the new version via twrp or follow another procedure?

Download zip, go to Updater - menu - select installation zip

Thanks for the reply, I have to download the whole file for more than 1 giga of version 8.4.12 that I find in the relevant forum?

Yes, full updates only, no incrementals.

Nope, as I know, you don't lose your data, if you update via updater app ota or selecting the zip in the updater app
