Hi, I know that many people found unreliable the bench results. But when the bench score is high, I feel the phone most reactive. compared with a low score. I want share my best configuration for optimal stability and higer speed of system:

screen of antutu:

o8bibm.png

Rom: cyanogenmod 10.2 cofface OC edition
adjustments: entropy control, cache size SD 4096 with noop scheduler and cpu clock setted to 1782 with ondemand gov.

with these settings, I have exellent gaming experience and super fast web browsing, with good system stability.

This is mine antutu score

Using miui-3.11.22 rom

Just the toggle in miui set to 'performance' instead of 'normal' (my system language is Dutch so I am not sure it translates exactly like that, but you get the idea)

My score is 28185, that was a while ago. MIUI 3.11.8 I believe.

Normal settings, phone set to performance mode

Yes, installed me too, and I have had the same score.. Its very faster and gaming is smooth. I dont understand because 1 rom 4.3.1 like cyanogenmod, overclocked and with many performance tweaks can have a low score than a4.1.1 original rom..

Its seems like every version i update to, the score of antutu is getting less. For example when i started this forum the score was over 28000 with miui-3.11.15 .Now at miui-3.12.6 i get less then 25000. No special programs has been installed. Anyone else has this issue ?

My best score. It was not done with the performance toggle.

I actually found the performance toggle does not effect antutu scores. All it does is bring all cores online, however antutu does this during its tests anyways.

Ok so i have triggered performance button, and the antutu score upgraded to over 27000 but not over 28000 with miui-3.12.6
@_jordan_ which version of miui you are using ?
@becham2382 , i have done restart to the phone and optimize it before that. Still can't get back to older score of over 28000

Just the version from miuiandroid :)

No performance mode. Its useless in antutu and can actually hinder performance during a benchmark, as part of the test measures multi core performance.

Ran the test again. Still got great results.

You have to be prepared for some fluctuation with antutu scores, and although 28395 is my best score, most scores are less than 28000.

Disable Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS. Clean up unnecessary files and junk on your device. Run fstrim after cleaning the device with the security app cleaner.

Then reboot and run the test again.

Did exactly what you said, seems i can't pass 28000 anymore. Can't point the reason. Thanks jordan

That's not a bad score you have their. Seems about par for the course. If you check antutu, other mi2s get around the same thing.

I'll run the test again and let you know what I get.

Did two more tests. 27699 with performance on, 27840 with performance off.

This supports my theory that the performance setting hurts benchmark performance.

Average mi2s scores should be in the 27000's, and high scores should break 28000.

Anything below 27000 on the mi2s indicates a poor performing device.

Scores in antutu can be improved. A poorly performing device should be cleaned and fstrimed. It is a good idea to turn off WiFi, Bluetooth, and sync (or, at least make sure your device finishes syncing before you run antutu).

Ok the the latest tests with the last miui build have the same results, 27+k.. I think maybe with a fresh install of the OS increase score.. 3.12.6 I have flashed over the old version, and with many apps installed.. When I have scored 28+k I remember that have had ever a fresh installation..

If we had an OC kernel for this miui (1.9ghz or higher), I think we can break the wall of 30k :p
