And the last thing. Do u think this kernel provides better battery life than stock one or not? In my opinion I think I get better battery life with stock but maybe I am doing something wrongly.. Performance is obviously better.

Indeed this kernel doesn't seem to be designed for battery life, but a more balanced one with performance. The same battery saving profile with this kernel has a better performance than stock, with the cost of battery life.

Hi, is anyone having trouble with the built in updater app after flashing micore?
It seems like it is causing a checksum error which causes the update to abort.

Also it seems to me that the stock miui kernel on balance and interactive is snappier and more responsive regardless of which governor I try using Micore. Will there perhaps be a version that only changes max frequency (OC) and voltage control?

MiCore is a kernel for Xiaomi MI-2/S(C). This kernel is especially for MIUI (Android Jellybean 4.1.1) works on official AOSP too.

This kernel is compiled from sources, which are released by Xiaomi on GitHub

Some chips can't take too low voltages, which results in bootloops

Well max is 600mv but not one device can take that

100 mv will probably be stable.
You can play with it and find a good configuation for your device.

Too low voltages will cause bootloops, shutdowns or lags.
If you encounter one of these problems you have too low voltages

Hi,

Help I have flash MiCore 010m

How to install
- Only works on MIUI (based) 3.11 .8 and above. Latest is recommended. (MIUI 4.4.25)
- Flash in clockworkmod recovery. (DONE)
- Flash on the right system (SYSTEM1)

After rebooting , it just stock on the MI logo for 15mins..
Turned off again my MI2s and flash it again in system 1
it just stock on the MI logo again.

To fixed the problem I have flash again the MIUI 4.4.25.

Is there something wrong in the way I flash MiCore 010m, I have just followed the instruction?

Trickstermod will do the job for you.
Possible to set on every boot.

Voltages are very device specific.
Every device has another chip.
The qualcomm S600 chip in Mi2S has 6 variants.

So you have to play with these settings.
Too low voltages will result in shutdowns/reboots or freezing behaviour.
So be careful

Could you please give me more info about them?
Also why this phone isnt clocked to 1.9ghz like S4 for example?
