Whatsapp Camera Making Noise Despite Silent Mode

The sound volume is zero, the notification volume as well, camera sound is disabled in the camera settings. My phone still makes a record sound for photos/videos in WhatsApp. SuperSU doesn't work with the current weekly, so I can't just rename the recording sound in the system.
Isn't there really another way to mute this sound?

Currently I'm using LOS as daily-driver. But here is the solution.

For whoever is looking for a solution, I used a file explorer app in root mode (ES File Explorer) to rename the file /system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg to camera_click.ogg.backup. You must grant the app root permission under Security in MIUI to be able to do this. Now there is no shutter noise in any app that uses the camera.

But Xiaomi must solve this problem, it is very, VERY annoying.
