Is it perhaps that everyone with this issue is rooted?

This seems a lot more like a hardware certification issue than the ROM exactly.

I see me aren't only with this problem to logged in WhatsApp. My device poco f3 or Redmi k40 doesn't logging in now in WhatsApp. I logged in another phone with standard room and it works. So the problem is the room. Xiaomi.eu we must fix this error.

@Jonathan Luna Everything hint at WhatsApp detecting the unlocked bootloader in some cases. I would not expect a fix on Xiaomi.eu's side, it is a choice by WhatsApp.
