why the font is different

hi , I want to ask why font of miui rom in miui devices are different from miui rom in other devices like galaxy s 3 or note 2, I tried several rom from your site to miui official site and others but the font is different. look at this pic. to show the default font in miui rom in note 2

and this one in miui rom for note 2 BUT AFTER MODIFY THE MIUI-REGULAR.TTF font to be like the miui device like Mi3

Iwant to ask why ?

Because MIUI original font doesn't support international characters so we replace it by original Android 4.3 font.

thanks but when I download the mi3 stok rom from official miui site and extract the rom ......I found that fonts of it are the same same of fonts in miui rom for note 2 (the same in everything) the miui-regular. ttf and Roboto-regular.ttf ....all the same .but why the different.... that's my wondering.

no its the same in everything cause i test it by font program and it's the same e.g.[the roboto family are the same with roboto family of not 2 miui rom ,miui regular ...the same ].(iam using official miui version from en.miui.com.

changes are in \system\etc\system_fonts.xml

can I use system_fonts.xml of mi3 in my note 2 (iam using miui rom official version from en.miui.com)

And please leave like this, the actual font is much better than original one imho, or switch to Roboto Condensed

Well I'm using Roboto condensed 4.4 in my miuipolska rom for MI3. For Xiaomi.eu we have 4.3 for now.

Any fast tip to use Roboto Condensed on my 4.4.27 too?
