Widevine L1

With the arrival of Widevine L1 certification for the Pocophone I have a question:
Is it possible that this feature is also integrated in the xiaomi.eu ROMs?

I guess not as most likely this cannot be achieved wiht custom ROMs and/or unlocked bootloaders at all - but would be glad to hear if it was otherwise..

Yes, up to now only for Poco - which really is a shame.
But still the question is: IF there was L1 in an official ROM could this possibly be included in a xiaomi.eu ROM as well or is this generally impossible with a custom ROM/unlocked bootloader?

Probably will be included. I saw on POCO Telegram group many people, which have root + unlocked bootloader + flashed AOSP/other customs - and L1 still working well.

OK, this sounds good. Preserving L1 would be a reason not to unlock my bootloader otherwise.
