Hi,
I have xiaomi mi5 pro and my provider is three (three dot co dot uk). Unfortunately tethering over WiFi (hot spot) was not connecting me to the internet, I could ping my gateway just fine though. After googling a while I found out that perhaps "dun" setting in the apn type might help and indeed it did! However looking at this article: tamingthedroid dot com/apn-type it turns out that "dun" is outdated. My question is:
How to properly enable tethering in (not rooted) xiaomi mi5 and why doesn't it work in the first place?
ps
I've found somewhere on this forum this apk: apk-dl dot com/df-tethering-fix I didn't try it though.
