Is there any chance that older devices such as my Mi Note could ever receive a Nougat-based ROM?
There's one feature that I envy a lot: the split screen. It's a thing that I used to have many years ago, on Samsung's Note 2, and it was really useful.
It seems that it only works on Nougat-based versions of the MIUI, though. Do you know if devs for the official MIUI are working on bringing other devices to Android N or they did it already for all the devices they wanted to upgrade?
That could literally lead me to buy a Mi Note 3.
