Worth Change From Global Stable To Rom Eu

I am new in miui and i want to to know about this change , pros and cons
Can anyone share his experience?
performance , battery, overall happiness.

I did the change yesterday from global dev to EU rom stable and so far I am very very disappointed.

- apps crashing
- gps connectivity is horrible
- LTE connection is slow
- features missing, e.g. group edit/move/delete
- Smartwatch connection not working
- Pogo+ not working

Did the move cause I've seen some videos of people claiming the EU rom would have face unlock..but it does not + all this above-mentioned issues now.

Do not know but just in case do a full wipe

Stable to beta/weekly no wipes required, usual "dirty" flash
Beta to stable-data wipe required as you are flashing an older over newer build unless you have older beta and latest stable

Not quite what I expected.

Looks like you installed a different rom that I have. Now I'm using last weekly release and I can say that for me is better than the global one.

- No bloatware
- Better battery life
- Some extra menu features

Sure if you have the weekly, it is different.

Normally in the world of software development, you expect a "stable" to run better than nightly, weekly, beta or whatever it is called builds.

Had to use some navigation on the weekend and used google maps. While the navigation is running, full-screen gestures don't work. You simply can't close the app, navigate to the home screen or anything. Swiping up simply scrolls on the map. You have to cancel the navigation.

There is so many stuff working less good/simply nonexistent vs. the global rom, I really don't get it.

Setup the entire phone to find out, that the rom phone is worse than before.

I do a lot of ***** trading and to switch to weekly build I have to disable all 2fa from any website again...simply frustrating.

So they have a good functioning weekly build and at a certain point, they say "let's make it a stable" and then they add crap and make it worse?

I am using 8.3.29 and when I run the updater it says I am up to date. I also have really bad GPS connectivity. I will try to update to 8.5.8 but I understand you have to wipe /data before you do this, which I'm not looking forward to
