New Xiaomi 11t pro Google apps (yt/assistant/chrome do not take mic input

Hi everyone,

I've been using my phone for about 2 months now, and I'm experiencing a frustrating issue that I haven't been able to find any solutions for on old Reddit or forum posts.

**Problem:**
I'm not receiving any microphone input from Google-related apps, such as YouTube, Assistant/Gemini, or Gboard.

**Steps I've Tried:**
1. Re-enabling microphone permissions multiple times on Google and Google Assistant apps (permissions were enabled from the start).
2. Clearing data and cache for the affected apps.
3. Reinstalling Google to the extent allowed by the Google Play Store.

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. It's worth mentioning that other apps like Messenger, ChatGPT, and Snapchat are receiving audio input just fine, which makes this problem even more puzzling.

**Request:**
If anyone has any ideas or solutions, please let me know. I'm getting close to swapping my phone again because of this issue.

I have the same problem on my Xiaomi 13 Ultra, running MIUI 14.0.20.0.TMACNXM Xiaomi.EU ROM.

What works:

• Normal phone calls
• Stock "Recorder" app for voice memos
  "Easy Voice Recorder Pro" app for voice memos
• [Facebook] Messenger calls, whether audio or video

What DOESN'T work:

• "Google Assistant" voice commands
• "Shazam" for identifying music
• "Gboard" voice dictation/voice-to-text
• More that I can't remember

Same as Shiroe, I've tried:

• Double, triple, quadruple checking app permissions, as well as resetting the permissions altogether
• Clearing apps cache and all data
• Uninstalling and reinstalling app
