xiaomi 12 android auto

Hi,
I have Xiaomi 12 with the latest system update and I can't connect to Android Auto (I tried with original cable)
I have 2024 Toyota Yaris cross.
when I tried to connect with Samsung it works perfectly.
please advise what should I do in order to connect.

I had a similar problem with Xiaomi 12. On ROM hyperOS EU, Android Auto worked without a problem. After installing Xiaomi.EU hyperOS, Android Auto stopped connecting to the phone. Changing the cables did not help. The solution to the problem turned out to be restoring the factory settings of the radio in the car. Now it connects without the slightest problem.Thanks,

Same problem with Honda NT1100. Phone takes connection to intercom and to Bike, but not to Android Auto. Connection should be done via USB. I have original and extra cable. Which works, as they should.

I have tested also with Samsung 25. It works fine.

Test made in local Honda dealers shop two days ago. Issue is common, I think.

- I have updated Android auto and phone to latest versions.

I had in the past issues with Android Auto on my old Xiaomi 12 (cupid) phone.
In my case the connection was not stable at all, I had wrote more details on my topic: [Question][Xiaomi 12] Android Auto connection issue.
My solution was, after trying different cables, (manufacturer/lengths) the working cable was from Huawey.

Ok, thx ! I have already tried wiith different cables, but let`s see. Perhaps it works with Huaweis cable.
How ever, Android Auto plays fine with Samsung 25.

I hope that my suggestion could help you, but could be a totally different situation.
Anyway, the Xiaomi 12 was "very sensibile" in my case, with AA connection to car, because others own Xiaomi devices, Mi 10 and Xiaomi 13 are working without any issue.
