Xiaomi 12S Pro keep killing background apps

Is there any way to stop it from killing background process? I have an important app that I use to receive VoIP calls, it's being killed consistently. I've locked it from process view, enable auto start-up, no restriction for battery.

I Google a bit, it's said that turning MIUI optimization off could help. But it seems this toggle is not available in MIUI 13.

Anyone faces the same issue can give some advice on how to resolve? Thanks a lot.

Yes. Got a few apps that completely restart after being in the background and then being reopened. Also tried turning off battery saving and enabled autostart, still doing this.

Use Device Apple or Samsung

Yeah unfortunately. I will buy an iPhone next xD
Also, you wouldn't face this issue on Global rom, if you set it up the right way. I love Xiaomi.eu roms but unfortunately due to this issue I cannot use this rom for more than a week.
