Is this phone ever going to be able to get notification stably? I literally tried every setting! It shouldn't be this hard. I just have an iphone and it just works, meanwhile I'm plugging cables and trying to figure out shell commands after trying every setting. It's insane, a phone not getting notification properly in 2024...I can't disable com.miui.powerkeeper because it gives an error saying I cant disable system packages. This phone is just killing everything in the background no matter what setting you use. Like I said, I'm pretty sure I tried %99 of possible things, so dont say click Autostart, etc. How do you fix this phone?

Especially the gmail notifications are quite delayed, sometimes doesnt come at all. Turning on the screen and sometimes unlocking brings the notifications, but otherwise even messaging apps are a bit delayed. I literally tried almost everything. Is this phone fundamentally broken when used in Europe with a Chinese ROM?

Has anyone tried deleting com.miui.powerkeeper without issues? ADB doesnt let me disable it saying you cant disable system packages...

Did you find any fixes? I updated from miui14 to hyperos on my STAR and now my notifications sometimes dont appear until i unlock my phone or open the app that was supposed to notify me.

I have all these applied. But i am still having the issue. It is intermittent, sometimes it is fine, but sometimes i dont get notifications till i open the app. I had to apply these on miui 14, and then it worked fine. But i updated to hyperos 1.0 and it has kept the same settings but the notifications are intermittent.

Happens even when i have the apps open in my cache and haven;t cleared them. Its like a syncing issue. For instance i just tested by sending an email to myself on my desktop. i didnt get the notification on my phone, even when the gmail app is running in the background on my phone. as soon as i open the gmail app it refreshes. Same thing happens for whatsapp and snapchat.
