Xiaomi 14 Ultra HyperOS 2 Bluetooth LE audio broken, device not working (Sony inzone buds)

Hi Guys,

I updated my Xiaomi 14 Ultra to HyperOS 2.0.8.0 stable. I noticed that my sony inzone buds is frequently disconnects and most of the times it isn't connect after i remove them from the case. I need to disable bluetooth and re-enable, then it connected mostly. I decided to unpair the device and re-pair it, but after i unpaired it i can't re-pair it. Technically it pairs (shows in the device list as saved, but when i tap on it, nothing happens), but can't connect to it, and in device preferences there is no settings like use it for phone calls, media audio etc. I attach photos about the issue. I tried the buds with different phone and it works fine, so for me it is clearly a rom issue. I can use my old huawei freebuds pro wich is not using bluetooth LE audio only, so i think it is an issue with either android 15 or hyperos 2 implementation.
Has anyone had similar issues? Sony inzone buds is only communicates with bluetooth 5.3 LE audio only.

Updated to 2.0.13.0 stable but unfortunately the problem still exist.

Do I need to downgrade to HyperOS 1 to confirm that the problem is not hardware related?

Even if it is not hardware related, as far as I know, the Xiaomi.eu team does not modify the Bluetooth drivers.

Thank you for the information. I restored to hyperOS 1.0.24.0 and the inzone buds is working fine, so it is a driver issue. I reported it to xiaomi.

same here i also have inzone buds and since the last update not only the sony inzone buds but my wh1000xm5 and my car bluetooth does not work. i can pair all of them but the sound wont get though to all of those device and stick to my xiaomi 14 speaker. for my wh1000xm5 and ugreen car bluetooth it shows that its connecting but the sound still came out from xiaomi 14 speaker. its getting quite depressing honestly since restaring the system device and my inzone buds and my wh1000xm5 does not do anything

Ich habe mein Xiaomi 14 Ultra auf HyperOS 2.0.8.0 stabil aktualisiert. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass meine Sony Inzone-Knospen häufig getrennt werden und die meiste Zeit nicht verbunden sind, nachdem ich sie aus dem Gehäuse genommen habe. Ich muss Bluetooth deaktivieren und wieder aktivieren, dann ist es meistens verbunden. Ich habe mich entschieden, das Gerät zu entkoppeln und erneut zu koppeln, aber nachdem ich es entkoppelt habe, kann ich es nicht erneut koppeln. Technisch gesehen koppelt es sich (wird in der Geräteliste als gespeichert angezeigt, aber wenn ich darauf tippe, passiert nichts), kann aber keine Verbindung dazu herstellen, und in den Geräteeinstellungen gibt es keine Einstellungen wie die Verwendung für Telefonanrufe, Medienaudio usw. Ich hänge Fotos zu dem Problem an. Ich habe die Knospen mit verschiedenen Handys ausprobiert und es funktioniert gut, also ist es für mich eindeutig ein ROM-Problem. Ich kann meine alten Huawei Freebuds Pro verwenden, die nicht nur Bluetooth LE Audio verwenden, daher denke ich, dass es ein Problem mit der Implementierung von Android 15 oder Hyperos 2 ist.
Hatte jemand ähnliche Probleme? Die Sony Inzone Buds kommunizieren nur mit Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio.

Hallo Leute,
Ich habe ein ähnliches Problem:
Seit einigen Wochen kann ich beim Joggen die Musik aus der Audials-App auf meinem Xiaomi-Smartphone Xiaomi 13 T pro nicht mehr über meine drahtlosen JBL-Bluetooth-Ohrhörer hören. Bluetooth schaltet alle paar Sekunden ab und wieder ein.
Ja, ich kann bestätigen, dass der Fehler zeitgleich mit dem Xiaomi-Hyper-OS-2.0-Update zusammenfällt.
Was soll ich machen?
