Hi.
I have just bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, with MIUI 12.0.1 Global. I have just discovered call recording is impossible on the ROM and that's a severe problem for me.
I have read on the forums that switching to Xiaomi.eu stable will grant me with out of the box call recording. My doubt is about SafetyNet. Keeping safetyNet is a must on that phone because of games. I don't need root on that phone.
So, can I just unlock bootloader, flash Xiaomu.eu MIUI 12, then lock bootloader again and keep the Xiaomi.eu ROM working? Is SafetyNet expected to verify again after locking the bootloader again, even with Xiaomi.eu ROM? Will I suffer any downside? I think I won't get security updates because of locked bootloader, am I wrong? Is the whole process reversible? I mean if it's possible to go back to locked stock MIUI global again exactly as the phone was when bought.
Thank you in advance.
