xiaomi.eu vs. Indonesian ROM 2025

Greetings, Forum Members!

To avoid any attacking comments later, I’d like to mention upfront that I’ve been using Xiaomi devices and Xiaomi.eu ROMs since 2014 with various devices simultaneously. I’ve always used Stable ROMs.
Now, I’ve purchased several Xiaomi 14 and Redmi Note 13 devices for myself and my colleagues.

1. Where can I download official ROMs (official Xiaomi)?
   The internet is full of various sites, but I don’t want an “extra-spyware” ROM for myself.
   Is this the official one?

2. What’s the conclusion about Taiwan vs. Indonesia ROMs? Which one is better/worse and why?
   
   
3. How does the xiaomi.eu ROM compare to the official Indonesia ROM nowadays?
   Bloatware can easily be removed, e.g., with ADBAppControl or similar tools.
   Ads can be turned off, as I understand it.
   So, perhaps:
   • Unlocking the bootloader
   • Installing TWRP (or another recovery)
   • Installing the xiaomi.eu ROM
   • might not be worth it anymore.I’m uncertain about the significance of the xiaomi.eu ROM nowadays.

my device doesnt have indonesia rom, but has taiwan, i tried it, just found the experience worse and less polished overall (no screen on time indicator, more bloated, feels overall less polished etc.), so i just clean flashed xiaomi,eu hyperos and im happy with it
