i wanted to check before i migrate to xiaomi.eu rom.

if i opted for the weekly rom, will i get OTA pushed to my phone each week? or will i have to download and install manually?

Yes. OTA has never worked for me on this ROM. I click and it says I'm already up to date and won't download.

You download the zip, put it on your phone and start the update via the updater? Or do you have to do the whole twrp thing again?

I reboot to twrp via updater and installed it manually via twrp. You can also do it via updater. Actually, it does the same thing but is automated.
