Hi,

I got xiaomi mi 11 from a website called bludiode in China and I wished I didn't cuz it doesn't support Netflix and Google pay which is strangely odd as Google pay should work.

Any advice what I can do about the former and latter please?

Hello and welcome! :)

Please take a screenshot of your MIUI version, in phone's settings => My Device

And since you are on Xiaomi.eu's forum, I suggest to unlock the bootloader of your device then install the latest Xiaomi.eu ROM (Stable or Weekly, your choice). ^^

;)

I don't know what you second screenshot came from...

=> Unlock your bootloader by using the Mi Unlock tool: https://en.miui.com/unlock/

Then follow this:

1) Install this tool on your computer to be able to run "fastboot" command in a command-prompt window => https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=2188818919693784074

2) On your computer, download TWRP for Mi 11 "venus"

3) Boot your device in "Fastboot" mode (hold " Vol - " and " Power " buttons simultaneously until you see the FASTBOOT screen) and connect your device on your computer

4) On your computer, boot TWRP via this fastboot command:

fastboot boot twrp.img

To change TWRP language to English, press bottom right button and select English.

5) Flash Xiaomi.eu ROM => In TWRP, Go in "Install" menu > Select ROM (zip file) > Reboot

P.S.: If your device doesn't boot into system => In TWRP, go in "Wipe" menu and select "Format Data" button (then type "yes" to confirm). Reboot your device after that.

Okay thanks, I will do this soon. Can you confirm if I follow these steps, will Netflix and Google pay work with xiaomi eu ROM?

Because they only installed global rom I believe.

The second screen shot came from the DSU loader.
