This is the perfect bundle for Hebrew users!!!!

Before the installation of this bundle please make a nandroid backup.
This bundle was tested on HTC Desire, Nexus One, Nexus S, Motorola Milestone and HTC HD2. If your device is not listed here, use it at your own risk.
If you tried it on a different device and it worked, please post a comment so I can add it to the list

Zip is OK, Install completed successfully but nothing changes...
I installed English before this, rebooted and installed yours.
Nexus S.

Can you please explain a bit more...
What's not working?
RTL?

APN??
All?????

None of them is working...
No new keyboard or Hebrew in input languages.
RTL is not fixed.
T9 dialer in Hebrew? Where? Standard dialer or new app?
APNs are there but that's already included with basic MIUI ROM.

Did you compile things to one package from iAndroid?

It doesnt work at all, I installed it, changed to hebrew and nothings changing - it remains in english

If I have to guess, The installation didn't work properly.
Are you flashing it from recovery?
can you try ADB pushing the files?

With stock APNs you can't send or receive MMS with Orange carrier.
The T9 Dialer will search for Hebrew contacts.

Every single file in this ZIP was compiled (not developed) by me.

Flashing with recovery...
Installation completes successfully.
ADB will probably work but what's the point...?

Have you tested it on your MIUI ROM?

To check if the problem is in the files or the installation.

Obviously, me and 30 other people so far...

Ok cool... I'm pretty sure it's the installation but I'll test the files and let you know asap.

Dude im pretty sure it ruined my phone.. damn
After installing im getting a weird-ass colors and it dont get to startup..
=/
I will try to use my nandroid backup, hope it helps.

You can't ruin your phone flashing this!!! Worse case: Bootloop.... (I'm sure the nandroid worked)
Can you please tell me which device you're trying to flash this to?

Thanks

I have the same problem. I performed a fresh install of MIUI 1.4.1 Beta 6 (from xda, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=998043). Installed English pack from the same thread. Everything worked correctly, then I installed the Hebrew pack - it said installation completed successfully (though it didn't write anything about files being successfully copied), and the ROM continues to work exactly as before (RTL problem isn't fixed, no Hebrew keyboard, etc.).

P.S.: I have tested this again, this time I pushed the files from the ZIP through ADB. It didn't work as well.

That's weird...
It's obviously related to nexus S (the bundle works perfectly on several devices).
I'll have a look at the nexus S rom and get back to you.
If you'd like to continue the conversation on our native language :) go HERE

Ok, found the problem, Nexus S uses a different mounting path on the updater-script. Just fixed it and made a special Bundle for NS users.
Make a nandroid backup before installation!!!
HEBMIUI-1.4.1_bundle-NS.zip

If it works (or not) please comment so we can figure out what's wrong and how it can be fixed.

The other thread is in the Desire section, so I'm not sure that's the right place, if the problem is Nexus S-specific :)

Anyway, the new version fails with Status 7 (mount() expects 3 args, got 4).
Are you sure the problem is with the updater and not the files/file structure? Like I said, I tried extracting all the files from the ZIP and pushing them to the appropriate locations through ADB, but it didn't change anything as well.

Unfortunately there's no MIUI thread for NS @IANDROID On the desire thread I try to help the whole Hebrew MIUI community. I'm the OP there, so I do what I want... LOL

The file structure is the same for all MIUI roms (as far as I'm aware). If it was different and you replaced it with a non compatible file, the app would FC or the phone wouldn't even boot.

OK, last try:
Make a copy of the English Language Pack and replace the files from the bundle to the new EngPack. Toggle signature verification off and flash the new EngPack.
Hope it works.

OK, thanks. Will do later tonight, or tomorrow morning, and update here or @iAndroid.

Hi,

I had some Internet problems when posting a reply, and now the board thinks I'm a spammer and requires a moderator approval of my posts :/

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that the latest version of the bundle you posted works great on my Nexus S.

Thanks for sharing it.
Tonight i'll update the OP.
