trinity1, I already had that thought (that the sound was part of the theme I am using..its this one by the way -> http://cellcustomize.com/2012/04/miui-theme-moto-blur-2-0/ (MIUI Theme: Moto Blur 2.0), but I tried reverting back to the stock theme and the sound still remains. With ES FILE Explorer I have went through each and every folder and deleted basically every .ogg I have found but still no luck. I am guessing that maybe this is some sort of error sound due to the fact that I have removed some of the apps with Titanium Backup, but then again the rom works flawlessly without a single error either in calls, sms/mms, 2g/3g/wifi browsing and so on!
Anyway, it’s not a major issue

Well we don't have the MOTO triumph, unless thats the Motorola ME865. You must be using a port that doesn't communicate with our OTA service.

Hi, i got the same thing... sorry for the stupid question I guess, but can I do something about this "port"... I am using version 2.4.20 on GT-I9003 /which should be a little old.. or not?/ Thanks for the answer in advance!

Hello everyone.

Up to two days ago, I had the galaxy SI and I used MIUI all the time - Great job!!
I've got the Galaxy SIII two days ago and I want it the run with MIUI again.
The problem is that I cant install it properly.
I rooted the phone and I downloaded the ROM to my phone but it gives me an error in the recovery with 'status 7' statement...
I think the problem is that my galaxy SIII is the SGH-T999 from T-Mobile.
Ive tried to find the proper MIUI rom to my model but all the MIUI roms Ive tried to install failed.
Meanwhile I installed an AOKP rom on my phone.
Please if anyone can help me Ill be very glad!!

if theres no miui here try RGUI ROM -----> p.s, sometimes you have to flash the Rom again if it dosent work,, so ur on aokp now, then you will have to full wipe before flashing,, and some times you may have to start from scratch, like Odin a stock ICS Rom, Root it, then nandroid it first!, then full wipe and flash the Miui Rom,, once its working, and you update Miui (best from the same site you got the Miui from) download the update, Reboot to Recovery, wipe delvic and catch partion ONLY! THEN! flash the update, and reboot

Another idea: the sound is somehow included in the dialer apk (which means you have to get used to that orrible sound )

Who has this Problem fixed about copy and paste from PC to MIUI Android Phones just go to settings scroll down open Security & Privacy tap on Privacy protection and Enable guarded mode this will help it worked very simple

When i try to go back to 2.9.21 i get assert failed.

did you make a Nandroid back up first???? if u dident, then id say flash a stock ics from Odin then ROOT IT and flash the Miui latest version, and if u can, copy yr Music/Video and Photo folders over to ur PC via usb if u get ph working first,, then when ph is working copy back the folders to ph. But try this first!!!---> flash the Miui Rom again, no full wipe, if u had a working Miui before,, just wipe Delvic and Catch Partion ONLY!!!!

Which device? How is your usage? There are a lot of factors involved, not only the kernel..

I have 1d+ on my SGS2, with about 2-3h screen on time.

sorry my mix up,, thought u was talking about a Rom kernel,,, there are a number of wifi fixs you can try on google Market/Playstore

How about arcknight or doom kernel? Can i use this?
And one more question: I deleted one icon app, so how can i drop it to homescreen again?

rewgarding the kernel, you should check at that source wether they support miui or not. About the icon: removing it from the homescreen uninstalls any app from the system. Miui doesn't have an appdrawer, instead icons are on your homescreen. So I guess you have to reinstall it

If app i remove is sytem(like setting, updater,..) how can i restore?
