Bug found in Data Plan: When set to monthly or daily, can't get back to unlimited. So, even if we change the data plan to unlimited it always keep showing the info about data plan exceed.

Try clearing all data for the Security app.
That worked for a previous version on another device.

Of course, but very important have original recovery, if u have another recovery can brick the phone

is true, but in xiaomi is normal that in any version first implement new functions to end up improving performance. now they are implementing in 10.4
I think its because of the game turbo, try to play without that option, i turn it off and the heat stabilized
Installing magisk solves these problems, strange but true

It means mi5 rom is actually mi5s rom with some modify to run on mi5. I think Everything work fine. Same install method with other rom
I'm not sure about rooting, do with your own risk

I think I rooted it when I unlocked bootloader. It was my first time doing it and I just followed some instructions I read to get me on this rom because I didn't like stable version.
Now when I try add it says card can't add because of root or modified some way..
During the whole process of unlocking, installing TWRP and the xiaomi.eu ROM there was a point where I had to check the option 'OEM Unlocking'. After flashing the ROM should I turn it off or leave it on? Could this be why contactless payments can't be setup on my device? (MI 9, GPay and IKO are not working)

Find a few issues on Redmi 4X:
- Dark mode not working properly only a few pages in settings are dark most of them are stayed white.
- Face unlock not working anymore, the phone does not even try to recognize my face and I cannot delete face data.
- When dark mode on face unlock's password screen are invisible.

No idea what's wrong with your face unlock, none of us has that issue.
As for Dark mode, it has been said many times already and is clearly written in the sticky post in Bugs subforum: Dark mode is still in development by Xiaomi, it is incomplete, and telling us that it is incomplete/buggy does nothing more than waste our time reading through those comments.
Moreover, it is very likely that by the time Dark mode is fully ready (probably MIUI 11?), your device might be EOL or dropped Xiaomi.eu support. I find it unlikely that Android Nougat gets a fully implemented Dark mode at all.

I did not read thru the full thread (yet) sorry. Face unlock issue fixed by re-installing the rom.

It didn't work. I installed not only the latest stable rom, but some other older version and on none of them the camera worked again.
Is there anything more I can try?
