Issue when receiving a call

Hi All

I'm facing a weird problem when receiving a call.

Suppose a person called me and I lifted the call. The person who called me is unable to hear my voice but i'm able to hear his voice.

I'm based in India. I have flashed MIUI over Darkys ROM v10.4.2 (which used to work fine on my mobile). I'm sure that there is no problem with Mic.

MIUI team can you please fix this as this is a major issue. Below is the link which shows that other region users are also facing this issue.

SGS by the looks of it, did you clear data and caches before flashing the MIUI ROM?

i experienced this also a few days ago, thursday to be exact, my friend called me, to setup an appointment, and she can't hear me(she tried calling me multiple times), i ended up calling her using my landline phone, but that night, a friend also called me up, and she could hear me just fine.

just a hunch, is Noise Reduction working? in the official rom, it is causing trouble for other people, maybe this is a same issue.

im using samsung s2, and flashed miui rom since 2.2.17 to date, and yes, i also wipe data and caches from flashing the 1st one.

I love MIUI, but this issue is driving me crazy.
Can anybody in miui team confirm this and please provide a fix.

There are lot of bugs to be fixed but you are just releasing the ROM on every Friday without fixing them.

This ROM is used internationally. As in millions of users around the world download and use it. One company does not have the team to fix ALL bugs ever. Bugs are fixed every release as you can tell by the huge changelog. This is an isolated problem for you. If every i9000 users couldn't hear people talking there would be more uproar.

Try a different kernel. Double check the settings. Redo your APN settings. These are just basic steps to try.

Can you please let me know the compatible kernel for miui. I have tried glitch 13.1 but no luck.
Also, please tell me what are APN settings and how can I redo them?

APN Settings are different for every carrier and sometimes phone. This is what you do. You google, "APN Settings for ____phone on _____ network. (EX: APN Settings for Inspire 4G on AT&T). Then you can enter that information (Saving your previous APN data, just in case).

I don't know enough about SGS2 to pick kernels for you. For HTC we have to pick senseless kernels. Though HTC Sense, is HTC only, so I don't what applies / doesn't apply to Samsung.

am facing force close problems on my sgs i9000. i have flashed miui 2.3.7 over gingerbread XFJVA 2.3.5. i had cleared all the data and cache while flashing.
google services force close...internet browser force close...facebook whatsapp..most of my apps also force close...
its happened before so i rooted my phone all over again and its still happening...
plz help
