Hi there!

I've been an MIUI fan for quite some time now, been using it on my HTC Desire since froyo. But recently the Desire has passed away, may god rest his soul, so I had to move on to new horizons. In short, I bought a HTC Incredible S.

This phone is rooted with AlphaRevX, so root access is no problem. I downloaded the GB rom, found on this site for the Inc S, copied it to my sd-card and started the installprocess.

Installing the rom was without errors, but when I tried to boot, I got stuck on the HTC LOGO screen.

Prior to installing I did a Full wipe, wiped cache partition, wiped dalvik and formatted the /system.

Unfortunatelly, nothing worked. I tried installing other versions of the rom, found on other affliates of this site. None of them seem to work.

Specs of my phone:
HBOOT 6.13.1002
RADIO 3805.06.03.03_M
Rooted by Revolutionary AlphaRevX

Thanks in advance to everyone who is willing to help me!

I didn't know there was a topic. You guys could of pointed me to it :p

Public information everyone can see is better than a one on one PM.

heheh, yeah, I guess you kinda know now right :)

I'm reinstalling MIUI again to get that logcat you asked. Where should I post it? Here or in PM?

seems to be this error:

12:39:34.419 exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory 2 2) -
Is that possible??

That means the ROM isn't even loaded at that point

I'm gonna need some more time to figure this out. Usually you only receive that error if you download the wrong rom for the wrong phone. Can you link me to what your flashing? Also, I know this is a very insulting question, but I have to ask. Are you sure you have an Incredible S?

Oke, I can live with that :)

Last question, did I forget to do something in the wiping proces? something I forgot to delete?

Yes, please try upgrading to the newest ClockWorkMod Recovery so we can remove that as a possible chance of failure.

I can't believe it, but updating clockwork actually fixed my problem! I now have a MIUI rom :)

Thanks for the help!
