[2013.2.4] Stock JLB 4.1 for M1/1S/1Plus is Updated

i have a M1, not m1s

When i try to flash any zip file after flashing 4.1 beta, it would fail. Maybe something wrong with it's Recovery.

it just jump from 0 to 98% and say that my update.zip is corrupt.

i have to use the MiFlash utility to flash back to ICS rom.

4.1 beta isn't really usable. lots of random bug and crashes

It's the same for base miuiandroid rom + gapps + multilanguage
After flashing miui base rom I can only flash one from gapps and multilanguage, I'm not able to flash both...

I think there's not enough free space in system/app

Ok, people, after two (almost three) days of use, I'm quite happy with Jelly Bean for the Mi-1S. Yes, it has lot of random hiccups and bugs but apart from the lockscreen issue is stable enough to use in a daily basis "with caution".

Aaaaanyway, since I work as a tester (and sometimes dev) and I understand quite well the development cycle and the architecture of the Android platform, I feel I can help. Where can I put the bugs I find?

Omg, i can't hold my self to not trying this . . . .

Can we restore our files and apps, maybe using Titanium Backup? (I don't think MIUI Backup works, because this is not MIUI)

@ahirsch29 this rom is stock android jelly bean for m1, not a miui rom based on jelly bean

What do you think about a CyanogenMod on Xiaomi Devices ? :D
I think it's possible with this beta....

Not possible untill xiaomi releases the kernal source, which is not going to happen soon!

MIUI is based on CyanogenMod in the first place. Portions of its code is from CyanogenMod.
After Ginger bread MIUI in not based on cm but the official release of the device code

about the kernel is on the chinese forum a poll or a petition to get the kernel sources released?

Since V5 is still not here i'm quite tempted to try the JB beta..
Is it possible to run this besides my current rom ?

Great news....ty

Sorry hadron...where have you see it...on official site/forum there're no news :(

Is this rom fit for every day usage or still too buggy? Is there a possibility to dual boot this with the current MIUI rom?

Many thanks in advance.

I haven't tried it, not yet.
QDS84 is deodexed, so if you use miuiandroid rom, you should be able to work with both.

is it possible to flash miuiandroid rom after installing jellybean?
on the old jb i had to use miflash to install the newer miui

Yes ! you just have to use recovery method and put the file to root of sdcard and rename it to update.zip

And don.t forget to do "wipe all data" to avoid different bugs!
