LOSP v3.10.05 - Mi1/1s,2/2s Latest !!!

hi guys,
is the new release posted yesterday (09.15) a different ROM than LOSP released on 09.11? I'm wondering if the latest (09.15) can be flashed over the previews one (09.11) without full wipe, in order to keep my settings? I would prefer a reply from someone who has actually flashed the release of 09.15.
Thanks in advance!

Flashed it 2 hours ago. Was using 9.11.
Wiped cache and dalvik cache
flashed rom 9.15
rebooted
Went ok, but missing gmail, so,
flashed gapps and reboot.
All working well.
Lockscreen shortcuts can be changed now.
Looks like more cyanogen settings are available.
Battery-life with 9.11 was perfect compared to other cm 10.2 and cm10.1 roms. Hope it stays the same...

Battery life i felt 9/11 was much better then the current one !
Also , pls have a look at Smartisan OS v0.4.0 Alpha with oppo find 5 support from this release !

Alright the [4.3] CM10.2_9.15 from moonlight rom blog bricked my mi2s.

Steps i took.
  • Installed CWM Recovery
  • Wipe data/factory reset
  • Enable TrueDualBoot
  • Install the rom into system 2 (Thinking i'll keep System 1 for MIUI)
  • Boot into System 2
  • Set everything up and format SDCard
  • Notice SDCard only 84mb Total Space
  • With CMD i reboot to recovery
  • Nothing come on ever since
Anyone have any idea?

I am using the technique from the chinese instructions. Got the drivers installed everything in order but miflash is still sending hello commands (Device is busy). It's been a while now..

I think you should better address your questions to the corresponding thread: Flash ROM Using MI-Flash. They are more skilled to help you. This thread is about the moonlight ROMs and your problem apparently has nothing to do with the ROMs.
Good luck and take care!

Alright, Thanks for the info.

Edit: Ok.. i have sorted it out. Place all the files in c:\Recovery and retry without any spaces in between. Weird.. it used to work before. Anyhow thanks~

hi guys,
I managed to enable the lock screen settings in LOSP 09.11. release, taking the following steps:

1. settings/general/profiles/click on the settings icon of the active profile/scroll down to system settings/lockscreen mode select use insecure lock screen
2. go back to settings/security/1st option: lock screen !
3. press lock screen and setup your lock screen as you like.

I love LOSP!!!

Pls keep this thread clean by talking about the relevant info guys...
Its a sincere request from my side... pls !:(

Wait!.. I'm confused the LOSP rom you posted were from built by moonlight right? Hence i ask about moonlight cause it bricked my phone earlier. I didn't mean to go offtopic.

Code:
ui_print("==============================");
ui_print("      BASE LOSP JB 4.3      ");
ui_print("==============================");
ui_print("  http://roms.blog.163.com/  ");
ui_print("    Built by moonlight      ");
ui_print("==============================");
ui_print("    Thank you for using...    ");

LOSP by Moon light 23rd September dated is going to be released tomorrow...
Those who love LOSP, watch out this space tomorrow for download link.
For change log, pls refer to first page !

LOSP is OpenSource, so this should be technically possible to make a build for my native language?
Anybody here have experience in ROM compiling? I'm not able to ask LOSP devs, I don't know Chinese :D

Hey can somebody tell me if the kernel used here is stock xiaomi or a newer version? I still find a little battery drain on all JB 4.3 based roms.. even M1cha's ROM a little. Manohar, can you pls post details about your battery usage stats?

What is "newer" version? Xiaomi is only one. M1cha's one is not finished, has no camera.

Yeah I figured but just wanted someone to confirm. I should've said "different" instead of "newer", sorry. Tube, any idea on how the battery life is on this ROM?

You can't make any conclusion about a battery life of ROM released few hours ago :D Install it and test for few days :)

I'm using LOSP as my daily ROM for almost one week and can confirm that its battery performance is equivalent to MIUI's. There is no battery drain like in many other available 4.3 ROMs neither in idle state nor in ordinary use. The same goes for the today's release.
However, in this last release (09.22) I haven't noticed ANY difference compared to the previous one (09.11). Do I miss something?

Where do I report bugs?
I have one constantly repeating in every CM10.2 based ROM
Wake ups are unstable and not immediate. Press power, wait 4(!!) seconds, only than screen turns on. Am I only one experiencing that? Sometimes it's better, sometimes worse.
This is not reproduced on AOSP 4.3 by ivan with same software set.

I don't have any issue when turning the phone on.

LOSP latest release has the best battery life so far with all these builds...

The previous build had also an excellent battery performance. But I don't see any other changes, do you?
I expected them in vain to integrate the FM support in this build, like they did in their CM10.2 build. Perhaps I should request some dev in this forum to try it for us... since both moonlight ROMs (LOSP and CM10.2) share the same base (cm).

I just finished flashing this to system 1 but it gets stuck on a loading loop (the one with the moving white lights) when attempting to boot the phone. Now I cant even get back to CWM with the power+vol up shortcut. Can someone help me?

EDIT
so i was able to boot back into cwm do a full wipe and reflash. it fixed this

I was wondering if anyone else is having a camera issue on this ROM?

AFAIK this is running on the stock kernel which supports the camera? I backed up my current MIUI rom yesterday, enabled TDB, restored just for that partition, then flashed this on system2. Booted with no problems, but when I tried to launch the camera it just registered a click without anything launching?
