No, I don't have TrueDualBoot enabled.

I flashed this rom through updater app over the MiUi English rom. (I wiped also cache, data and dalvik cache).

Good job wajk.

Battery life is great, lasts a whole day easily for me. However it's not fair to compare since I'm using the 1.2ghz mod.

It easily lasts me two days, sometimes more, running on the big battery.

Really great, if not the best, Rom out there at the moment for the MI2.

I just noticed that using a usb stick with otg crashes the Rom badly when you unplug it (after safe eject of course) taking down the systemui and breaking the keyboard until I reboot the phone.

Can anyone confirm the issue?

I have now 15% and 3rd day of usage on original rom....

Are you on the big battery? I use Waze app everyday for around 2~3 hours and this consumes most of my phone battery. Plus some Youtube videos and browsing during the day to drawn the rest. :p

I don't have an OTG cable for test, sorry.

What is the best way to install it?
Anyway I'm on miuiandroid official v3.9.20.

Like I posted before, to install the WiUi rom I flashed it through updater app over the MiUi English rom. (I wiped also cache, data and dalvik cache). So far so good. And TDB is disabled.

And if you want to install de 1.2ghz mod, follow the instructions from here:
http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/mod-918mhz-1242mhz-cpu-addon-init-d.20328/

Just keep in mind that if you're using the official rom, you'll need to first install a kernel with init.d support, like the redmaner's kernel and then apply the 1.2ghz mod.

Both, custom kernel and 1.2ghz mod are flashed through ClockWorkMod.

no, I am on normal battery but I don't use phone like you (lot of GPS), only for phone calls, web browsing and push synchronization of company emails + google mail, FB, google+...no games. battery holds 2 days typically , sometimes 3 days like yesterday (5% on the end of the day). I am on default 3.9.20, no wiui. I feel wiui like little bit "over-optimized"...IMHO

I'm using this rom for a month now, so fa so good.
I used to play 3d games like nova and modern combat 4
no FC's that I can remember since I started using this ROM.

thnx for your feedback :D

just one more thing. I really like the "CRT monitor like screen-off effect" instead of a "fading screen-off" effect
I will definitely appreciate if you can put that back.

Or Wajk can show us where to modify this setting for enable and disable the fading CRT effect. Because I don't like it, it's better without :p

If you should set Animations settings to 0.5 in Developer Settings, CRT effect will be gone. ;)

I use 918mhz mod now and battery is much better than without any MOD :)
But true, performance is better with 1242Mhz mod.

Over optimized?

Performance and battery never enough for me, I'm always searching and testing tweaks and MODs for Maximum battery and Maximum performance. Stability is also very important for me, but true we and our dailyroutine aren't same.
Stock MIUI also very good choice. Everybody know what is the best for themself.

I have now 15% and 3rd day of usage on original rom....

here is almost 5day, just for fun :D

Nice! You must keep your phone clean and smooth, wajk, I notice your phone is barely awake with the screen off, close to 99% deep sleep it seems! I'm pretty happy with low 90s. Even 80s is acceptable.

Swyped from my Mi 2

Thank you, Wajk! Tomorrow i'm gonna try it!
I got a question: does *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* working, now? I'm on an older relase (i update once in a month, more or less) and trying to shoot a panorama or a photosphere image, would cause a FC.. I know that these features are not supposed to work on (M)Wiui, but in my first update (3.5.something) they worked...i'm wondering what could be changed since then! ;)

Hi Wajk,
I used your roms as daily drivers. Until now I was just always just watching and trying various roms on this forum. Anyways I wanted to thank you for your roms. But this time I also wanted to report a bug....maybe it is just me, because I also used the speedtweaks you rcommended on your 1st page. But when I try to add a birthdate at the contact list I always get the error: android.process.acore terminated.
Maybe you have a solution for me. Thanks in advance!

I didn't see fully working Panorama mode with *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* under MIUI, but Focal Camera app also very cool app.
XpLoDWilD very great dev.

That tweaks not "recommend". I just share with that users who would like to try some other settings than mine. I can't reproduce birthday bug. Try it with english language setting, if working right and you use other language than english, report it to multilanguage topic, or to your translator.

If not language releated problem, try Wipe Cache/Advanced Dalvik Cache.
or full wipe

Hi Wajk, is that 3100 mAh battery or the regular one ?
For regular one i bet this result would be awesome.... !;)

I have only regular battery, but I would like to buy bigger one.
In my opinion this is not record, I just use my Mi2 as normal phone without any battery killer option
But I really loved my "cordless" phone. :D

Usually I use my phone 2 days without charger, because I like 3D games and using Camera.
