Looks like Update app is not functioning. The first rom installed by mi-recovery (the 31 version). Now I also tried the already flashed 31 with Update app, same problem.

Really strange, I used the update app to upgrade to v33 (by specifying the zip file location, not OTA)
Not sure if it's intended, but widgets from non-system apps do not load for me after boot without starting the app itself. I now use tasker to autolanch the apps after boot, but it's not ideal.
This is on a MiPad and was also the case with the previous roms, and both with Nova launcher as the Miui launcher.

Apparently there's a new type of ROM for Mi3... Global ROMs, which will be unique for all countries Xiami is launching Mi3.

Why is the i9300 build still based on Sammy 4.1.1 while there is 4.3 available? Is there no hope to get updates, maybe based on CM or Omni? Will v6 be KitKat only?
It would make me really sad if I should get a new device after one and a half year just to be able to use MIUI...

For mako/nexus 4 are bugs like:
- localisation,
- recording during call,
- changing lockscreen background,
Fixed?
The prefix issue is still present in Messaging and Phone. I wish there was a fix for this as it affects the most basic function our phone does, making calls and sending texts. I am using the Note 3 (9005) and everything is working great expect this and I like MIUI Rom to much to go away from it. Have waited almost a year for it
only big problem i have in mi3 is the cracking sound in movies taken with the camera.. can't understand why it's taking so long for miui guys to fix it.. well i hope it will be fixed in miuiV6..! :|

Version 33 installed through mi-recovery (english), renamed downloaded file to update.zip and put it on internal sd card and flashed. Then cleared cache and version 33 is ok.
Tried the Update app again on version 33 and now it works
. Apparently a hiccup in the installation of version 31.

Despite not having the new theme engine, MIUI was my favorite.
Great ROM, interesting features, lockscreen, music controls, etc.
Now I'm lucky if I even get to flash a decent stable version of this
once every like 5 months.. :'(
