I might find some post about "mokee trojan" on XDA, but I can't find any proof. Could you give us some?

Anyway, thanks for all the hard work you've done! I'll give you a coffee soon.

No, I can't. I'm just telling what I was told. I tend to not believe this.

In xda someone wrote this about mokee:
"I read a gizchina article about some China made stock and custom ROMs might have a trojan inside and give a app to check if u have it or not .... So I download it, scan the phone and there it was... A wild variant of same trojan appeared..."
I'm a Mokee enthusiast for last 3 months with Mi2s and Redmi 1s.
I did scan my phone with the five probably better antivirus available in Play Market and everything is fine.
You wrote that "someone" (who?) sad that "some" Chinese custom roms (which?) might have (so this is not for sure) a trojan. This guy on xda made a troll? Probably yes.

Regarding his first answer to me he is kinda troll, and I don't wanna give him any more attention than that. So we better forget about that and keep on thanking Wajk for his awesome work and telling him how much we love him and will miss him

Very sad moment for Miui community. But I understand why You are leaving us. I just wanna say big THANK YOU for a great job what you did for us.

I've been using the Z3C for the past month, wajk.

It.

Is.

AWESOME!!!
I also was going to buy one in late winter. Is the transition from mi2s to z3c very odd? or are they somewhat similar? I'm just worried about the on-screen buttons. I'm not sure whether I'll be able to use them

Personally, I haven't had any troubles. From an aesthetic standpoint, MIUI/WIUI looks prettier, but functionally, stock Sony works at least as well. In terms of build quality? No contest, Sony all the way.

I would imagine of all the flagships available on the market right now, you'll have the least amount of trouble transitioning from the Mi2(S) to the Z3C due to their similarity in size, although I do prefer even smaller, but I'll happily deal with this rather than be forced to use the other gargantuan options.

Like you, I'm not a fan of the on screen buttons, but again, it's something I can deal with. I find myself going into full immersive mode quite often in order to take advantage of the extra screen real estate. I should point out all the positives of this phone FAR outweigh any of the potential negatives. The most obvious is the battery life. Holy crap! This thing lasts forever!!

Anyway, I'd like to write a more in depth review, but this isn't the place. Just know that I'm extremely happy with this phone after enjoying the Mi2(S) for the past two years. It's certainly a step up and I would recommend the Z3C in a heartbeat to anyone.

Hi @Wajk, it seems that you don't want to release the necessary to keep alive the wiui.
Can we buy it, than?

Thank you very much. It means more to me than any in-depth review. I've bought my Mi2s in february, I just want to last a year and then buy a new phone. For me battery means a LOT. Only once I forgot my Mi2S open in charge playing a looped youtube playlist (which requires screen to be not locked) for 4-5 hours, and when I took phone to power it off it was burning like hell. Thank God it didn't effect the CPU/RAM of device, but since then my Mi2s started to drain battery a lot and I'm required to charge it at least 2-3 times a day. Due to customs in our country I can't bring a battery into country by an airmail and Xiaomi batteries are not available for purchase in our country. That's why I'm gonna change my beloved Mi2s ASAP to switch to mobile mode (rather than being a wall-hugger as all iphone users are :))

i've got the z3c too, for like a month now
Compared to the mi2s:
- Blazing fast
- Speakers are muuuuch better
- vibrate is more intensive
- Comes with lots of great apps, but also with crap apps

But the biggest disadvantage (and maybe the only disadvantage) is that it doesn't fit in my hand as properly as the mi2s. Because the device is 100% flat, i hold it only with the sides on my hand, not with the back. With the mi2s, the whole backside is a bit rounded, just like the natural shape of your hand. And with this device, it is really important to hold it good in your hand. You don't want to drop this baby. She won't last it. (Kind of hard to explain in english. My english is not that good).

Thank you for your input very much! I really appreciate it. For me main disadvantage, as member "oile" has said is no good rooting procedure. I'm using very much optimisation methods that require root (like Greenify Pro, Link2sd and etc.) to disable/freeze apps (to make battery last longer or to delete apps that are not used outside china like xiaomi market, directory and any other chinese app) or to change dpi of my screen (from 341 to 280) to make written words/numbers get smaller in 4.3" screen of my Mi2S.

But, (and a very big BUT) I don't think that I should be warned about battery in this device. And that is my main reason of selecting Z3C. I should also be good with a dpi of 319 for a time that a better rooting procedure would be produced.

And about the back of device, I'm sure there are some silicon or rubberised covers that can be used. I've used them in my previous devices and they decrease the possibility of dropping device very much because they are not as slippery as gorilla glass cover of the Z3C.

Any idea why my Mi2S with Wiui (TDB and MIUI on other system) keeps throwing a FC gapps to me? The first two/three weeks no issue at all. But last week... Gha. Sometimes my Whatsapp says: database corrupted... But if a backout and force close WA, then restart WA, all is fine again. Not corrupted at all.
Also camera sometimes won't connect. All kinds of (small?) issues start raising their ugly head. I tried to wipe cache and dalvik, doesn't help. Any idea?

I really really like V6 so I would hate to go back

I downgraded to version 4.9.12 to have an OS with functioning bluetooth in my car. And without any other issues. 4.9.19 has an error evertime I try to open the dialer, and 4.9.29 forced closed on me with the InCallUI app.

So no problem with 4.9.12?

You can try to download the module from xda or repository (repo.xposed) links provided in the opening menu of the module. I think it should be impossible to include advanced reboot (due to new look of the MIUIv6 reboot menu), thus I've installed a free dualbootswitcher app, which can do everything that a normal miui/wiui/AOSP advanced reboot menu can. And it resides in my app drawer for future use (I'm not using MIUI Launcher). I can provide you with the app if you can't find it in the internet.
