How To Restrict Uninstall Of Application

I have Mi Pad and is used by even my kids. They uninstall the apps as its very easy to do. How can I restrict that with pattern/password? (FIFA - 1 GB app was removed with ease and I have to download it all again)

yes its possible with Child mode..

I dont see that option in my Mi pad.

Android version: 4.4.4 KTU84P
MIUI version 6.7.2.0

Do I have to upgrade to get this option?
Can you pls let me point to the link on how to upgrade (incase that is required)

You could install CM security and easily protect access to 'Settings' (or any desired program) with a pattern.
