I'm thinking about buying the Mi4i but the fact that does not allow removable SD card, leaves me a bit unconfortable.
If something happens to the phone, like damage screen or simply stops working, we loose all the information and data inside correct? Or theres a backup plan?
With micro SD is just take the card and put on a different phone and lifes keeps going....

this will work before any issue and before any issue, backup is not an issue right?
I mean after the issue...

For example my phone felt on the floor yesterday and bye bye. Died completly.

I can just pull the SD card and put it in a new phone and I have all my important data saved, suche as photos, videos and documents.
Phone calls, messages etc its all in MiCloud.

Resuming, no SD card facilities you are "dead in the water" if something happens to the phone......

You have Mi Cloud backups like:
Contacts
Messages and Call History
Notes
Galery
Calls recordings...
Need more?

Have you even read my post and tried to understand them at all lololol
BTW MiCloud is just 5GB, free, since the card capacity is 16GB, mainly used for photos, videos and documents, you know, that stuff that is really a memory and worthwhile to be saved in case of any inconvenient.

Well, I'm trying to be convinced not to buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.
I was looking for the Redmi Note 3 and Mi4i but since they don't have SD Card facilities they are 90% certain from being excluded from my choices

those would be ideal choices but its much that I want to pay for a phone.
There are good deals directly from China, but arriving in Portugal I will have to pay customs + vat, etc etc
I think I will endup with Redmi Note 2, which is also a good phone right?
Buy it on aliexpress in Hong Kong Goldway store with sellers shipping method and you will pay 10 euro more for shiping, but there is no VAT or customs, because they put on package value of 20 US$

What they declare makes no point to Portuguese customs, since they will require the invoice of purchase and they will tax it for the total amount paid (item + shiping).

Buy an Otg pen drive. They are very cheap from eBay. I bought one that I use in my keychain. It's always at hand :)
