I have another question, where I can't find anything in the web.
It is about the recovery-mode. When I go via Volume-up and Power into that menu and press the recovery-tab. I only get a picture of a phone with a sticked usb-cable. But there are no options like wipe data etc.

What I know to be a recovery is to have some options like clear dalvik cache, install update.zip, wipe and factory reset.
Can somebody confirm that the recovery mode is simply this picture without any options?

As I get always that space error I wanted to try a wipe of all data. Bat that's not possible either.

Well I don't know what was the idea of Xiaomi to make a recovery so complicated. I guess they just blocked their bootloader without thinking of how to recover when it doesn't boot anymore.

I think the first thing to do is to remove that silly blocked bootloader. Anybody already removed the blocked bootloader from his redmi3?

This is a stock recovery mode from xiaomi, and it haven't option. it choice.
WHEN you can unlock bootloader and then flash a custom recovery (like CWM or TWRP).. you can find all option you need..
i want it so much. is powerfull. i have solved a lot of problem cimply with custom recovery ;)

For now, no one have unlock bootloder.. because xiaomi give us this option only when have a developer rom avaible..
and then.. when developer rom are avaible, in not many days.. will be released global multileng rom..

For now.. we can only be wait..

if you want wipe all your data, at moment, i don't use option in the miui, but i use miflash :D

Does anyone know when developer will be released?

Some do.
Just read some post before.
I hope you have success

Ok guys. I am happy to present the solution.
I always got this this "not enough space" error.
Now I took another notebook, setup a new windows 7 64 bit.
istalled the miflash and driver and tried again.

And: It works!
So it's not a problem with the image or the redmi. It just a problem with the pc.
So everyone who has this "not enough space" error, just try another pc and inform us about your result. :)

OK, my phone finally arrived so I want to try this method to get multi-language on my phone, but I'm not sure with the first step. It says "install 7.0.11 to your phone with Update App". My phone has MIUI softver version 7.1.1.0. Do I really need to install version 7.0.11 or I can do it with this newer version too?

no are you ready to start ;)

One more question (sorry if I'm annoying)... Did you resolve the problem with black rectangles that is mentioned on the first page?

I read somewhere that global version of the Redmi 3 ROM will be released on 24th Feb. That doesn't mean that custom ROMs will be available. Like qbert said, the bootlocker needs to be unlocked first.

sure.. but... i have read.. the bootloader can be unlock only when is avaible developer rom.
i have just received sms to confirm aprovation to unlock.. but.. don't work for now

It looks like we'll have to wait few more days for developer ROM. I read on miui.com forum an update about it. It says:
Update*
[I have come across the latest 6.2.18 rom already however, it drains the battery very fast. Furthermore, bootloader unlock process has yet to work on this rom. As such, it would be unlikely to be pushed out on 24th Feb. A more ideal date would perhaps be friday when developer roms get updated and hopefully Redmi 3 gets included in the miui unlock by then.]

I hope that friday will be the day :)
