I had just installed in my MI2S this update it's all perfect...but i checked the TWRP without result

Is it still required to Install MIUI 5.12.17 2x via Updater app first to merge your system partitions (no more dual system support) , before installing this (on my MI3)?

Aries ROM/ TWRP combination works flawlessly.

I hope you feel this change from xiaomi.eu side - against another restrictive action of official Xiaomi - was a huge work and effort and also how valued this for users. On the one hand we can enjoy further xiaomi.eu updates, on the other hand we have got much better and more powerful recovery with many options and full nandroid backup! Great work and support Xiaomi.eu devs!

sorry to borrow you but I am completely loosed
Weekly Update was very simple and good in regard of my poor geek level
So I have understand that something change but not completely how to do.
I never use TWRP so if a new how to for MI2 exist please let me know otherwise I have some questions.
Ingbrzy say :

Question: I have DL the flashable ZIP and the new aries 6.2.25 ROM,
what is the best or easier way ? (1) (proceeding as usualy with mi recovery) or (2) ?
(3) Version 6.2.25 still can be installed via MiRecovery but it will overwrite it to TWRP
Question: I don’t know or use TWRP what mean it will overwrite it to TWRP?
(4) Next versions will require TWRP for all devices
Question: point (1) say “Our ROMs now contains TWRP..” this apk will be automatically installed by this Rom?
I apologise for all this questions but you still using Aries Rom and you have already updated your ROM
Thans by advance I wait for your answer before udating.

1. Download and install TWRP via updater app: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759888018
2. Reboot to TWRP recovery and tap on keep read only button
3. Reboot to system
4. Download and install ROM via updater app: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759888488
It will be redirected you into TWRP recovery and the installation will be done automatically same as before. Only noticeable change is you will have TWRP custom recovery instead of MiRecovery. System update procadure is the same

What do you mean "install SuperSU via TWRP" do i have to only install zip of supersu in twrp and then i will have root?i already updated to 6.2.25
