2014811: Miui 7 V6.3.3 No App Update Or Rom Update Possible

Hi everyone,

I was on miui 7 v6.3.3 and because the camera kept on not working I decided to update the version. Unfortunattely, I did a bad move and did a factory reset. Anyhow, I managed to re start my device the only problem is I can update the app or download new ones via the playstore. So I tried to update the rom but I cant, twrp keep saying that there is a mistake (even though I checked the md5 and everything)!

Please help, i wanna cry / or throw the phone by the window Thanks for your help

The thing I dont get is how the file I first downloaded on this xiaomi.eu forum was wrong? I previously downloaded other files for rom for redmi 2 here and got no problem

Lets get it from the start,

Are you rooted?
What recovery have you installed?
What MIUI version have you installed?

What do you want to achieve, as Final State of your phone?

Then, I can provide a better solution to the problem.

So this is what I have on my phone right now. I dont want to achieve anything in particular, just the best working version available (especially battery and camera speaking).

recovery is twrp since last update (i didnt chose it)

(numéro de version /number version, missing on the screenshot is: KTU84p)

I have the same problem after the update of 6.3.3 but whit a Redmi2 PRO

I update my twrp version. Maybe if it Will work (maybe try tomorrow) let me know if you try before me.

I went back to a stock recovery, then update a recovery rom and wipe date. It worked for my redmi 2. Check en.miui.com, they explain it
