You don't need to unlock your bootloader to flash the official rom. To use this (xiaomi.eu) rom, you'll have to flash the official dev rom, request the unlock, unlock after approval, then flash twrp, and then flash this rom. Only re-lock the bootloader when you're using the official rom.

But it says so even on the webpage of the official rom...? Well at least on the fastboot flash, which I was told to do when I described my problem (most likely related to the weird MIUI version).

Either way I'll probably go with the rom from this threat as I don't really want to reinstall google app support. Is there anything I need to worry about/be carfull with due to the unlocked bootloader?

Turn off your phone. Hold power + volume up untill you see the miui logo for the second time. If you see a phone with a usb cable on the screen, the bootloader is probably locked.

I have the same problem with Locus Pro for mountainbiking.
Every battery saving and permissions changed. Even lock in the recent task. But no way. And that's for a while..

Try this:
Go to security settings, permissions, autostart, find app and allow.
Go to permissions, find your app and allow "get location info".
Go to App Battery saver, find your app, put "no restriction" and important part, scroll down and put Allow on "Background location".
Lock app in memory and it will work now.

This way im using 5 gps depended applications without issue.

Same here. First install 6.6.30 and update. It is the only way I think.

But I think that powernap or Amplify might be the problem..
