Hello.
I have Mi4C. I have updated to Android 7 on Friday - version that is very fast draining my battery. I would like to update to reuploaded versions, but when I try to instal TWRP I can not: FAILED (remote: Partition flashing is not allowed). Ok, bootloader is locked. I try to unlock it. The program stops at 50% - Could not verify the device - current account is different from the account info on the device ( the account is the same, I have checked). I Put it the phone in developers mode, put the find device on... I do not know Why does is not work?
For unlocking: When I go to web page for unlock my device, when I enter all my data, I click that I confirm for accepting disclamer, but when I click apply now, nothing happens as the page does not work. I tried in diferent browsers and diferent computers. How can I unlock the device? Or how can I put the new version of ROM on my phone? Thank you.

Hey folks!
I also want to share the experience. I was in the first wave who flashed the ROM for Mi4S with battery drain. After 2 days of waiting I got unlock permision and installed TWRP(for mi4C) from the link of guy with 4PDA signature (some pages ago). Made a backup wiped data and cache. Installed the patched firmware and viola! Everything went smooth.

And, you guess, the account IS the same...

Folks, the unlocking permission from Xiaomi is still pending from saturday... They never replied

Just two days have passed, wait a bit more...anyway no need any reply from Xiaomi just check the download possibility of MiUnlock tool. If you are able to download it that means you got the permission...

Opt menu "keys" - "long press on the home button" - "to run Google Now" and nothing happens, Google will not start. Does anyone have the same problem?

Same. It's not working on the original beta ROM also so I guess it's a bug not related to EU roms.

I've a mi4c, and I never locked-unlocked bootloader. I always only installed this rom since 1 year and half via Updater app.
Actually I'm with version "MIUI 8.2 by xiaomi.eu 6.12.22 | Developer".

RELESED Android 7.0 for MI4C, Mi4S, MIMAX, MIMAX PRO, MINote PRO
Your BOOTLOADER will be relocked after upgrade from Android 5.1 to Android 7.0 MI4C, Mi4S, MINote PRO so unlock it by en.miui.com/unlock after ROM installation again!!!

How to upgrade to Andoid 7.0:
1. Install MIUI 6.12.22 before updating to Android 7.0.
2. Select zip in Updater - menu - select zip
3. Unlock your bootloader again on Mi4C, Mi4S, MiNotePRO
(check your bootloader status by command "fastboot oem device-info")
4. Install TWRP for 7.0 via fastboot "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" "fastboot boot twrp.img"
5. In case of issues, wipe /data in TWRP
6. For ROOT use latest SuperSU

This supersu , SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip, works well with the twrp for android 7 in a Mi Note PRO or gives the error of "sim card not detected"

Check the WhatsApp in autostart is allowed. If that doesnt work, check the app battery saver and add: set no restrictions. All items can be found in security center.

You have to Download 7.2.9, use Updater app with it and the phone will reboot. Then you have to begin the unlock, entering in the web en.miui.com/unlock
When you receive the unlock code, you have to enter at the same web and download the unlock app and finish the unlock.

Then you have to flash twrp for next updates

Is there a solution for the Mi4c owners stuck in this situation ? Maybe a Windows 10 bug, i read at the miui forums

Yes. If it worked for you with 7.1.19, then it will on this build.... Both are Andr. 7.
I have ZCX twrp, from the 1st post and everything working as it should...
