Sorry, but I still don't get it.

If I update to latest Nougat build my bootloader will be locked. I unlock it officially with Xiaomi unlock. But, do I have to perform this everytime I update my ROM thereafter?

No.
even of it is get locked. you can easily unlock it using unlocker tool. no need to get approvals again. unlock permissions attached with your MIUI account permanently

you're right, i also didn't read front page properly but finally figured out myself, after reinstalled MIUI rom many times again and again :(

after reinstalling android 7 many times, i can confirm you only need to unlock again one time only

Yesterday, after i flashed on my mi4c v7.2.16 rom succesfuly, i applyed first time in my life for unlock bootloader on en.miui.com/unlock , i received this sms from 1792: "Your verification code is xxxxxx. This code is valid for 5 minutes. If you didn't request a code, ignore this message." I introduced that sms code there, clicked on Unlock Now button and now appear the text:
"

️ Submitted. Please wait for the review.
After your application is approved, we will send an SMS notification to your cell phone. If you have not got any info after 10 days, please post a thread in Complaints/Advice section of MIUI Global Forum ".
I checked mi unlock tool but i got the message:
" Your device isn't supported by Mi Unlock ".
What must can i do now? Must to wait few days until i will receive another confirmation/validation sms or?
On Mi Cloud my device is fine, appear everytime online when i sync it.

Now you have to wait for the approval.

Just noticed, shortcut for default gallery app is missing. App itself, however, is working, when opening some image from file manager

There's a problem for me with this update. I successfully flashed v7 on my mi4c, have twrp(for v7 ofc) and root installed.

But I feel that everytime I use the phone with wifi and other stuffs it gets hot pretty fast. Then when I tried to uninstall system apps like I used to on previous versions (without a problem) they will uninstall then when you reboot they return.

And there is something appearing everytime I boot the phone something that lets you put username and password of your mi account saying "Thanks for helping Mi better" something like that.

Also it always force closes any up im using for no reason (force close settings are off even in dev options).

I'm reverting back to 5.1. :/ Anyone got same problem?
 
Hi all,

I am usiung a MI4c with 7.2.16 version. I have an current TWRP installed (TWRP_libra_7.0). Also I installed SuperSU (SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip). But su is not working (all apps complain that there is no su).

Any ideas?

ROM is very good. No drain battery or overheating on Mi5s. Thank you.

My Mi5s is best Xiaomi ever had. Love it! (until now)

I tested HDR on a sunny day, and it seems is working ok. I will test it on night today.

Slow motion and rapid working fine.

My Mi5s is best Xiaomi ever had. Love it! (until now)
