Stable Xiaomi.eu 8.5.2.0


You're wright thank you I didn't notice that, it's eu.stable 8.5.2 rom and its booting!! , now installing , I'll state my remarks following days . I will install supersu but no deep sleep fix for now . Just to see how good or bad battery managment is .

Still 6.0. Don't now security patch level, it's version 2.1.2.battery drain seems to be gone, but I will keep you informed now after first loading to 100% after 2.30h and 30 minutes screen on-time 85% left .

noticed a battery drain. before update had 8.1.2, used battery fix 1 and 2 and battery held 2+ days. after update battery goes from 100 to 15 in one day of minimal use( sot about 1.5 hours). installed battery fix 1 and 2 again. will update later if it helps.
 
Hi, I upgraded yesterday from a fake ROM (phone bought through Gearbest) to the stable ROM. Sadly, the autofocus of the camera doesn't work anymore, it did with the fake rom. Tried with the camera app as well as Mi scanner and QrDroid, no focus anymore. This is quite a serious bug IMHO, any ideas where I should report this to?

I thought it's called autofocus for a reason. :p
Is this really an issue in the new software? My mum is using a Redmi Pro and she quite likes the picture quality. I wouldn't want to ruin it for her with this update.

you certainly don't have to tap on the screen in the QRDroid or MiScanner apps, the autofocus is doing this for you. But anyway, even tapping on the screen doesn't help, there is no more focus, definitely a bug.

It would be a tad more useful if somebody could tell me where to report the bug to instead of getting answers that do not really help...
 
I actually did upgrade in the hope to get an improvement for the camera, as the fake ROM did not provide really help with the double camera feature. Looks like this really backfired as I now have a camera without focus...
 
hm, I thought there was no Globe ROM in English for the Redmi Pro... could you please point me to it?
 
Is this better compared to 7.6.8? The battery seems to be better as per feedback, but this does not have the dev feature, right?
