Finally I can convince the phone to boot up. I only had to install SuperSU. Interesting problem.

No personal incoming notification tone in Whatsapp. I can set the new notification but not use the new notification.Just device notification sound still coming.

Is not a bug, this is caused by Nougat, people talked about this one thousand times in en.miui.

Before be angry and ask with bad words to devs, consider to make to xiaomi eu team many donations and say thanks, because they are bring to you something for free. If you don't like it, you can go back to stock.

Thank you for the information. I changed the rom on my MiMix and still has a lot of problem (for example notification bar is in black color in NOVA Launcher). Im not angry just disappointed. So i dont need Nougat i have to go back again to eu multi rom for MiMix _7.5.4_v8-6.0. and never refresh. I hoped the problems still fixed but not.

mine, with HMNote3SE 7.9.15 rom ...............dont conect data.... only wifi...

After 7.9.14 broke xposed support, I tested the Epic MIUI Rom Nougat Port, which I found very unstable (probably caused by dirty flash).
Don't really recommend them ports.

I switch to official Lineage OS 14.1 (7.1.2) today. Can already report , that it is allot better and stable than messing with MIUI ports.
Battery I can already report on, 4 hours of use (2 hours SOT) drained by only 27% (73% left) since my last full charge. Was lucky to get 4 to 5 SOT on MIUI.

Plus of LOS over MIUI, native "Trusted Devices" enabled without needing a xposed module to activate it.

Maybe on my next xiaomi device, if i get another, I will return here.

To solve the Whatsapp's custom tone issue!

> Root your phone (in which most of us do when running custom rom)!

> Using any root file manager!

> Copy all your custom tones into the /root/system/media/audio/notofications/ folder in order to make it the "Systen ringtones" that can be recognized by WhatsApp as Whatsapp in Android 7 cannot recognize your custom tones in the /Internal Storage/Notifications/ folder at the present time.

Issue by passed or solved in the matter.

** Those tones with name ending "_01"are my custom tones.

I bought Redmi 4X from Ali. The device came unlocked and flashed with Global Stable ROM. (I've seen it through developer settings)

Is it officially unlocked? How do I know that? and if Yes, can I proceed and flash xiaomi.eu ROM's?

I have same situation with redmi 3s, out of the box, it has fake rom 8.1.1.0.0, fastboot oem device-info says true, it enters edl... But how to be sure is it officially unlocked. Is this enough to confirm the bootloader is unlocked...

Just use MIUI 9 based on Nougat Themes and the problem of colors would be solved ( the on that framework has edited) apply one of them for example the 999Gray Theme, after applying that then change your launcher and the bar color would be black with White fonts! or some others theme with white color bar and black fonts!
