If you mean the emergency broadcast setting, it was a frozen sys app on our Redmi 3s. I defrosted it & it's now working. Dunno if it's the same on the Mi5 but worth a check.

Haha! Nice one, my battery life isn't too bad for my device (RN4 mtk), but I have been tempted by deals on the snapdragon Note 4,such good value and much less disappointment in terms updates and development.

well ... I don't beleive snapdragon will move forward now, it reached android 7, new model is coming. It smells the same as for kenzo and kate.

I didn't try factory reset, don't know is that going to help, i was on official rom before couple days, and situation is been same...
Just i'm think that something is not ok, something draining battery, or battery got some issues, i can't get two days with average use, for example 5-6 hours with screen on, sync on, wifi, 3g, fb, whatsup, viber, camera...

Install GSAM Battery Monitor and find out what's eating the battery
