Anyone else has problems with downloading update via OTA(Mi 8)? When I click check for updates, I see there is an update, but when I click Download, Toast shows up and says that my MIUI version is up to date.

Installed on Scorpio without problem, Magisk as well. At one moment there were no sounds at all, after a restart is all good. Not sure if it is a bug or was just a temporary glitch. Hopefully this version doesn't have all those juice leaks drove me crazy in 883

UI is incredible slow after flashing 8.8.9 over 8.7.26 on Mi8. Wiped Dalvik/Cache afterwards

do you also use Magisk? Problem with battery menu persists only when i install Magisk.

Tried several versions (16.0, 16.4 and 16.7) but nothing changes.

Battery crashes all the time but worked several builds before 8.8.2.

Any ideas?

8.8.9 just installed on mi5, GPS working fine, testing.
Also to mention that in previous rom I did not face any mi5 lag contrary to previous roms.

UI sluggish solved for me in 8.8.3 (but lags present till 8.8.2), now testing 8.8.9, seems fast.

Hi lads, thanks for your efforts. Mi 5s here, i have the same problem i had with 8.8.3 v2: the screen switch off and switch on every 2 sec. The 8.8.3 v1 works perfectly on my phone, except for the face umlock missing, nothing has changed from then, no new apps installed, no change in settings, nothing. I'll leave this with you for another week.

Same here... Can't boot any rom after 8.8.3 v1 @ingbrzy when it asks for the sim pin the screen it's on/off every 2 seconds.

The face recognition is so fast now, that I had to disable it . Is the screen off animation really needed? It annoys me a little that if I press the power button, it doesn't switch off instantly.

Can I uprgrade ROM thrue TWRP with ROM.zip + magisk.zip in One pass like always do (miui.zip +supersu.zip ; reboot) or must be
2 pass ? (miui.zip + reboot; twrp again +magisk.zip reboot)

I did not wipe or delete anything and my screens remain exactly the same.
