OMG...i've used v.GCam_Pixel3Mod_1.1 (this version is so buggy), what about night mode in v.1, is it black viewfinder in yours too..?, because in mine it's just black screen. Anyway thanks for your detailed info.
Viewfinder is black, but it can take pictures just fine. Intended or not, I don't know.
What is with this: mi note 3 *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum*.

Is this true and is this included in xiaomi.eu rom.
Only for Pie based ROMs.
And which rom? For me it doesn't work on 10.0.5.0.
Exactly 10.0.5.0.

For some strange reason the module does not work correctly. According to the users, the libraries are not activated correctly.
api2 working in stable MIUI.EU, versions 10.0.2.0, 10.0.4.0. And 10.0.5.0
1) In build.prop:
- Delete "persist.camera.dxo = 1"
- Add "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled = 1"
-Do not have any module related to api (very important)
-GCam_FIXPORTRAIT_HDR_JASON.zip uninstall
-Jason.all.in.one_minimal_hevc-v2.3.zip
Uninstall
- Unzip the zip Jason.all.in.one_minimal_hevc-v2.3.zip and we're headed
System / seller / lib
-extract the libmmcamera_jason_s5k3p8sp_sunny.so library and copy to root / system / vendor / lib
Outdoors, the other libraries are included in the rom
Restart
-*no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* recommended MGC_6.1.013_MiMAX2_V1b_A8.1 + fix_Hexagon_failed + blFront.apk. The vision works perfectly in night mode. In front camera night mode we do not leave in green we go adjustments in BSG imput model selection nexus 6p
Fact! Api2 enabled.

Por alguna extraña razón el módulo no funciona correctamente. Según los usuarios, las librerías no se activan correctamente.

api2 trabajando en MIUI.EU estable, versiones 10.0.2.0, 10.0.4.0. Y 10.0.5.0

1) En build.prop:
- Eliminar "persist.camera.dxo = 1"
- Agregar "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled = 1"
-No tener ningún módulo relacionado con api (muy importante)

-GCam_FIXPORTRAIT_HDR_JASON.zip desinstalar
-Jason.all.in.one_minimal_hevc-v2.3.zip
Desinstalar

-Descomprimimos el zip Jason.all.in.one_minimal_hevc-v2.3.zip y nos dirigimos
Sistema / vendedor / lib
-extraer la librería libmmcamera_jason_s5k3p8sp_sunny.so y copiar en raíz / system / vendor / lib
Al aire libre las demás librerías vienen incluidas en la rom
Reiniciar
-*no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* recomendada MGC_6.1.013_MiMAX2_V1b_A8.1 + fix_Hexagon_failed + blFront.apk. Funciona perfectamente la visión en modo noche. En cámara frontal modo noche no nos salga en verde nos dirigimos ajustes en BSG imput modelo seleccion nexus 6p
¡Hecho! Api2 habilitado.

Thanks a lot, @Divet ! Is this the cam? https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/...iMAX2_V1b_A8.1+fix_Hexagon_failed+blFront.apk

I´d like to thank @leledumbo , @Divet and @Depump . Finally *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* is working like a charm. Only Slow Motion crashes the cam, but especificaly for this I can use Stock Camera. Thank you so much!

This method can work with XIAOMI.EU Weekly Rom? Like 8.11.15 developer?

Last edited:
the rom is new today. Not tested. is ROM oreo 8.1.0 beta

Its safe to test? I dont want to brick my phone, or make a clean install....
So i have to do only change the libmmcamera_jason_s5k3p8sp_sunny.so , and edit build.prop?

I give up, I tried every tutorial I've seen here and on other forums and nothing works and *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* still crashes every time.

Make sure you use eu stable 10.5 and install twrp and root

Yes, all checked.

1. edit your build.prop

add persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1

change value persist.camera.dxo=1 to 0 ( zero )

2. Reboot

3. install module via magisk name is all in one https://is.gd/Ip3JKL

4. Reboot

5. check camera2api with app camera 2 probe which it must show Level 3

6. choose *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* up to you

Did that, it shows level 3, but the camera still crashes.

Crashes because you are using wrong *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* version. I guess you are using Android 7 and you are trying newest *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* that is for 8+ Android.
