Installation:
1- rename the downloaded file to recovery.img
2- from terminal fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
3- enter recovery mode with the "Volume Up" + "Power" keys

Recommendation:
When installing a new firmware, restart first in recovery and then in system.

Tests carried out personally on stock firmware (Global Stable) installed via fastboot (tgz format).
Installed the TWRP immediately and restart using the Volume Up + Power keys.
Successfully decrypted and installed firmware in zip format (also xiaomi.eu).
No problems found.
