Invalid Nova Launcher Companion App

On my Mix 4, the Nova Launcher Companion App has been constantly terminated for about four updates. If I change from Second Space to First Space, I have to restart the Nova Launcher for the Companion app to work. Even after the cell phone has been idle for a long time, the companion app is sometimes closed. Does nobody have a solution for me? All measures like autostart, exception in the energy settings and keeping the app in memory changed something.
Especially since it worked without these settings beforehand.

Third party apps are not guaranteed to work with MIUI, so maybe someone has an advice for you, but I cannot confirm this as a bug as the mentioned apps are not part of the ROM.

Im using nova as well with the companion app (for notification) and I'm not facing this issue.

So I suppose it's not a general issue with miui.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I know that the Nova Launcher is not part of MIUI. However, it worked wonderfully in the first versions with Android 10.
I guess the MIUI System Launcher also uses a kind of companion app for Google Now.
How can I help you to reproduce the problem?

The companion app for notifications?
I do not understand.
The Companion App is only necessary if you want to swipe the Google Feed in the launcher.
I get notifications quite normally via the Google app.

A companion app for Google Now? It's provided by the Google app.
Reproducing it won't help with anything, I'm not a Nova Launcher dev, can't control it's behavior.

Okay I See, different things then, I thought you've meant this:

Could you point me which app you're referring to?

I'm happy to test.

Yes. It enables me to call up the Google Feed via swipe just like in the System Launcher.

Well like I said, System launcher doesn't need a companion app...
OK. All of the launcher I tried needed a companion app to use the Google Feed. In the meantime, I am very impressed with your customized system launcher. I only use the Nova Launcher because it offers icon pack support and multi-finger gestures.
Can you tell me when these features come to the System Launcher?
Then I would no longer need the Nova Launcher and this companion app

Hmmm, is that the expected result?

Yes, thats it. However, if you / I switch to Second Space and switch back, the Companion app will be closed. I then have to restart the Nova Launcher.
Can you verify that?

I know that this is not a private chat either. But it's a shame that you don't answer my last question

Ask Xiaomi, I've no interest in implementing something so complex and unmaintainable.
