Hi, this is my first time installing the xiaomi.eu ROM, my device is lavender.
I know how to unlock BL, but...
Which recovery do I install? I heard about orangefox many times here, but it's a .zip and not a .img file so I can't install it via fastboot.
When I install the recovery, what are the steps to install the rom without any encryption problems?
Which magisk version do I install and how do I install MagiskHide?

Download the latest version of OrangeFox-R10.1_02-Stable-lavender - https://files.orangefox.tech/OrangeFox-Stable/lavender/ if you gonna install the latest version of EU rom 20.3.12

I heard about orangefox many times here, but it's a .zip and not a .img file so I can't install it via fastboot.

When you enter in recovery mod you can flash this zip file. TWRP has the ability to flash zip files. Via fastboot you just unzip the fail open cmd with admin rights and type: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img but you must install ADB driver furst. When i install TWRP for exemple i use platform tool and flash TWRP later i copy paste my orange fox in the phone and flash orange fox.

When I install the recovery, what are the steps to install the rom without any encryption problems?

with the new version of Orangefox you dont gonna have encripted problems when you flash this update of EU 20.3.12

To fix everything you must install the global rom furst via MiFlash tool. register the phone. after that you can install the new version of orange fox and install this rom of EU 20.3.12

I had same problem on the HM7Note, solution was to completely reset the phone. In orange first format the data partion and start from scratch.
Hopefully you have a backup ........

Lockscreen is laggy. Locking unlocking takes time. There is a shadow of lockscreen elements (clock, swipe to unlock) etc after unlocking.

for redmi k20 (davinci) this update is terrible. some notifications appear white and you can not see the notification in notification panel. after unlocking the screen freezes. it is worst weekly update in miui 11.2 for redmi k20

I have two question, the Mi 8 lite from my dougther is on Miui 9.12.12 Xiaomi eu beta. The TWRP is 3.3.1-1207 from wzsx150. For the new update can i update dirty?
TWRP needs to be updated?

I encountered the following problem since switching to 20.3.12 (from 20.3.5) on Redmi K20/Mi9T:
Some colors in various apps are messed up when using dark mode.

Examples: Spotify (black progress, white on white play button, some buttons dark green)
Nova Launcher Prime (selected colors (green dot) appear differently in UI (search bar))

Same problem here... sometimesit frezzesfor 4 or 6 seconds and then come back to live... if you are typing sudently apear all you are been touching...

20.2.27 is the last version which is not causing lags and freezes with applications and drop down menu on Mi 8

Yeah I noticed it on some apps to, dark mode is a bit to strong or something,it's darkening at lot of stuff

Yes, it seems that xiaomi in this past versions of beta china that our guys using as base, did some faulty steps. I am sure that will be fixed shortly.

Just go with 20.2.27 and wait until you would see in changelogs that they fixed it

Hi mate, this update has some dark-mode issues and I had to disable this:

Best weekly for me has been 20.2.27; I had almost 3 days battery life with it with any particular issue.
