What is it?
Settings - notifications - shade - Android.
It just happens in the "Android". If you choose "MIUI", it works fine. However I don't use"MIUI" because sometimes in WhatsApp notifications it doesn't show if I received a message from an individual chat or in a groups chat..

Oh. okey. Now i get it. I'm pretty sure i didn't have this problem in MIUI 11, did you?

how much time we need to wait for OTA updates?
And later OTA update we need to do some wipe or not?

I tried dirty flash (I want to keep all my apps and settings) my RN7 Pro to xiaomi.eu MIUI 12 v20.7.9 from xiaomi.eu stable MIUI 11 v11.0.1.0 (Android 10), and it keep rebooted to OFR.

I remember reading about older security_patch version on weekly rom is the cause (@Poney70 ) for this bootloop issue, so I did some comparison on both build.prop of MIUI 11 & 12 :

MIUI 11 :
ro.build.fingerprint=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/V11.0.1.0.QFHCNXM:user/release-keys
ro.build.fingerprint_real=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/V11.0.1.0.QFHCNXM:user/release-keys/1591676537
ro.system.build.fingerprint=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/V11.0.1.0.QFHCNXM:user/release-keys
ro.system.build.fingerprint_real=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/V11.0.1.0.QFHCNXM:user/release-keys/1591676537
ro.build.version.security_patch=2020-05-01
ro.build.version.security_patch_real=2020-05-01

MIUI 12 :
ro.build.fingerprint=xiaomi/lavender/lavender:9/PKQ1.180904.001/V11.0.4.0.PFGMIXM:user/release-keys
ro.build.fingerprint_real=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/20.7.9:user/release-keys/1594328841
ro.system.build.fingerprint=xiaomi/lavender/lavender:9/PKQ1.180904.001/V11.0.4.0.PFGMIXM:user/release-keys
ro.system.build.fingerprint_real=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/20.7.9:user/release-keys/1594328841
ro.build.version.security_patch=2019-11-05
ro.build.version.security_patch_real=2020-07-01

So, to fix the bootloop issue, can I just change all these lines in MIUI 12 with MIUI 11's lines?
Will that affect the fingerprint or anything else?

Thanks for any help.

To me the download was going very slowly, consequently I downloaded the rom and selecting the update package did the rest automatically.

Hello! :)

You are correct. ;)

So here are the modifications (in bold) to be able to boot and to pass SafetyNet tests:

ro.build.fingerprint=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/V11.0.1.0.QFHCNXM:user/release-keys
ro.build.fingerprint_real=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/20.7.9:user/release-keys/1594328841
ro.system.build.fingerprint=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/V11.0.1.0.QFHCNXM:user/release-keys
ro.system.build.fingerprint_real=xiaomi/violet/violet:10/QKQ1.190915.002/20.7.9:user/release-keys/1594328841
ro.build.version.security_patch=2020-05-01
ro.build.version.security_patch_real=2020-07-01

Thank you for the release. Updated yesterday and no any problem for me for past 24 hours. K30 pro.

Yes I did as always. I always read the first post and I've never had a problem, but this time yes and I don't know why. I downloaded the rom, installed a first time via the update settings in the miui, it didn't work, then I tried directly on twrp and it didn't worked. So I downloaded the previous version and worked fine as always. I didn't do anything wrong.

Try this… https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/fix-bootloop-magisk-after-installing-new-firmware.53378/

I think that my mobile data is draining my battery. Is there anyway to deactivate it only while there is a wifi connection?
I know I can do it manually, but is there anyway to automatically do it?

thanks .. what happens is that the aod in my rn7 lasts a few seconds and then it goes off .. pony said to modify the line where the time goes but i don't know how to do it
That's the line he mentioned in my photo above. Display Items, press there. If it's set for 10 seconds, change it to always

I already have that activated always, even so the clock image turns off after a few seconds
Or I don't know if the way in which I activated the aod in the rom was not the one indicated because in the eu rom it doesn't come from the factory. I get it activated by flashing a file by twrp

What's your phone? Does it have an amoled display? If not you are just looking for battery trouble flashing AOD. Anyway if it didn't come from xiaomi.eu ROM, I cannot help more with that

So you force-enabled AOD on a device with no AMOLED display (and no proper doze support), and you come here looking for solutions, basically confusing users? You should be looking for help on XDA.

It is a rn7 ips and I know that it does not come with the factory active AOD but I have seen on several sides that it can be activated

I just wanted to know if they knew of any way to make it permanent .. the idea is not to confuse but to improve the device every day ..

To "improve"? Do you even realize why it's not enabled on non-AMOLED devices? Do you know how AMOLED works?
There is absolutely no sense in enabling AOD on devices with an LCD panel. None. It will drain the battery like crazy and wear out the screen faster.
Like I said, for uneducated DIY tinkering, go to XDA, this is not the place.
