Xiaomi.eu HMnote8Pro MTK [begonia] [DISCONTINUED]

No, thank you.. we will not support any MTK device.. it is our internal decision and you have to just respect it.. we are not official Xiaomi forum but just community of volunteers.. we are just humans with families and not much free time which we already invest into many Qcom devices and our wifes and kids..
if you can not live without our ROM, sell your MTK device and buy something from supported 45 devices...
I understand and respect that, and I thank you for your kind response, with pleasure.

We would be very grateful if you could cook a ROM for this Xiaomi terminal.I know that the time they have is limited but surely there is a chef who offers to make a good dish for this terminal. a so and although the task is not fructose, thank you.

There is a new working method to unbrick begonia, tested by many users and me - this.
Is there any hope of support xiaomi.eu for begonia?

I tried this method on January 2021 on my bricked Redmi Note 8 Pro and its works wonderful. I can use my bricked RN8P again without needing an authorized Xiaomi account to unbrick Mediatek devices anymore. This instruction is more easier to follow > Installing Redmi Note 8 Pro firmware via SP Flash Tool – Telegraph. Credit to the dev working hard for this new unbrick method.

Hi. There're some ways to unbrick (hardbrick) this device. You can find it on xda, is there any chance to resume support?

It's not bricked, just a mention that there are ways to unbrick without the EDL Account method

Yes...I did unbrick mine without the EDL account also. But.. if you're going to help out the guy...might as well give him a few link or pointers. Answering with a simple yes...there is a solution and just leave it like that is kind of a dick move ;)

I meant that anddea knows a way how to unbrick the redmi note 8 pro without EDL account and asked the devs if its possible to resume xiaomi.eu support.
No need to be passive aggressive and call it a dick move on my half when i just repeated what anddea said since you seemed like to understand it as he/she bricked his/hers redmi note 8 pro ;)

Hi @ingbrzy ,
There is a new workaround (without cfw or modified preloader) popping on the internet to flash fastboot ROMs and unbrick, like on this video

Can you please reconsider?

Hello, can you resume support for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, I saw that you said that there were risks of smartphone bricking with custom recoveries, you just have to install the right recovery, frankly the only time I bricked my redmi it is by installing a CFW recovery instead of the basic one to try, well after with the SPFlash tool I succeeded in unbrick, no need to have a xiaomi account for it 'unbrick, please can you exit Xiaomi.eu on this devices, thank you!

Hi there. still from Xiaomieu without rethinking the possibility of retesting and cooking a ROM for the Redmi Note 8 pro? I think the RN8P community would appreciate it. Please consider it. Thank you.

Hello, with the new Xiaomi.eu policy of supporting MTK chips,It would be possible to have a version of this Rom for our RN8Pro.It would be very interesting and appreciated by the community that has this Xiaomi phone.Greetings and thanks for the effort you make to have ROMs.

There is no new "policy". MediaTek devices are still not supported as a rule of thumb.
Those Dimensity ROMs that were released thus far will only be maintained as long as our Patreon members are interested in supporting the initiative, which is different than how we treat Snapdragon devices.
