i removed pin, fingerprint, etc. before booting to recovery and mounted all partitions within twrp but still an error.
i dont know where the problem is. really frustrating.
sad that there is no orangefox recovery for the f2 pro.

Um, it might not help, but I had issues with the twrp, ~until I found out I had the storage in the install tab set to otg instead of internal. Would you like to check it?
For Mi10 1.1 - 1.2 twrp ?
File is simple corrupted .
I used twrp-3.5.1-0-umi-manuelbianco.img and TWRP-3.4.2B-1206-XIAOMI10-CN-wzsx150 like always.

Hello, the only solution is to do a clean install (="Format Data") and do NOT restore "System settings" from a Google Backup/Mi Backup, during the first setup.

You said you have the 14-03 (v1.2)
Try the 08-03 (v1.1)
If it fails, retry the v1.2, then the v1.1 and if it fails go to 02-03 (the last may has some issues).
How do I know which is 1.1 which 1.2 when it says only the date?
Have any of you already installed on UMI here or are we just guessing?

The MBTWRP_14-03-2021_UMI.img is the v1.2
The MBTWRP_08-03-2021_UMI.img is the v1.1
The MBTWRP_02-03-2021_UMI.img is (probably) the v1.0.
I think you can see the version when you boot into the twrp under the logo (bottom right).

Hello. Go to settings > home screen > home screen > and it has an option that it says "swipe" , you can choose between two options there "search" or "nothing", so choose nothing!

Hmm, where are you saving the rom? Try to use an external device to store it or in the internal storage of your phone.
Also if you use otg, check if the type c to usb adaptor has an issue.
From the same USB I installed the rom after that. Not for the first time but 101
